Water not draining from deck

Aloha Cal owners, 1969 Cal -2 30 I have water behind my winches that doesn't drain out all the way. Nearest drain is aft by the cleats, 2 -2 1/2 ft farther. Would like to do something about it and wondering if anyone else had this problem an came up with a good solution?

Do you mean on the deck gunwales? It's a small channel and mine doesn't drain, either. I keep a rag there and wipe dry every so often. Bugs me because it's affecting the paint (or gelcoat).
