Cal Cruising 46 SATORI For Sale

Hello Cal Pals, The sad day has arrived, facing reality age 78 & health challenges, I can no longer sail away, so my loved boat for 34 years is officially on the market. SATORI was built by and for Jack Jensen, the founder of Cal Boats. She was launched November 1967 and shortly after Jack sold the business and sailed away around the globe. He returned to Newport Beach and passed away from a rare blood disease at age 53. I outbid Bill Lapworth for this boat and have loved her ever since. We sailed away from Long Beach, CA in 1988, then roamed about, lived aboard and lived our dream for 14 years. We swallowed the anchor here on Bayou Chico, with only short cruises until old age caught up. She is at our dock by our home on the bayou, only going on short overnighters and regular haul outs. We are involved in a major cosmetic re-do, so no current pix until we finish in a few months.
