Hi, Flip, where are you located? What is your hull number? (Just curious, but there were different masts in different eras.) There are several ways to attack this/these item(s).
Boat yards the local Cal 25s favor are Whitehall Yacht Yard on Whitehall Creek off Whitehall Bay (yard is run by Cal 25 owners), or Muller Marine on Back Creek.
Another option is to have our handy mast climber/rigger Colin take care of it with mast in place (other yards may also do with mast in place), but an inspection with mast down is a good idea to include spreader brackets, shrouds, and other doodads up there.
Bring it to Burnside Street on Spa Creek (we have 10 Cal 25s there), and we use adjacent boat spinnaker halyards to drop your mast and turn the thing into a DIY job.
What is the sheave problem? There are two different sizes up there, and the sheave grooves may vary. See below.
By topping lift, do you mean a main boom holder-upper? Not related to spinnaker stuff?
Take Care
Charlie
