Strange, Reggie, I never got any of your drawings or photos in my E-Mails. Curiosity on my part. Are there typically baffles installed in tanks that long (4 feet)? Strikes me that couple 5 gallon jerry cans would be easier than the cross coupling system? When the fuel tank in our CC#^ began leaking some years ago, PO removed it and had two smaller tanks manufactured to install in place of the one large U shaped original tank. Curiously, no fuel is drawn from this tank by the engine. All engine fuel is drawn from the starboard tank and there is a cross fill from the near bottom of this tank to the starboard tank, as seen on the picture. This tank has an external sight tube for fuel level. the starboard tank has no fuel level indicator of any kind! So, this tank acts as a supplemental tank. AND, the fuel fill connects only to this tank, so, to fill the starboard tank, you must make sure to have the cross fill open while fueling. both tanks vent through a single vent hose. It was an interesting system to learn and we didn't get any instructions from PO. Any space in the tank above the fill port cannot be used. What is the ability of the installed tank frame to hold the weight in place?
