2-25 tiller

Hello, Im lookimg for a new tiller for my 2-25. My plan is to get a new one while i refninsh the exisitng and have a spare. The current piece is delamimating. I dont know if the present piece is original, likely it is, but besides moment arm (torque), do i care about the shape? Is rise or drop crucial, beyond personal comfort? I see a nice one with a slightly higher rise than current. Are there Implications i should comsider? I tend to overthink things sometimes. Also, a search suggests that the original had a drop, not a rise. Any information is appreciated. Thank you. ..tom in Monterey, Ca.
