Did you convert your pedistal steering from a tiller? I am looking for tiller parts, morse shifter and cables for an A-4.

Hi Nathan,
Congratulations. You will love this boat. I bought a 1970, 29 two years ago. I have been doing a lot of upgrading since then. Roller furling, lazy jacks, pedestal steering and auto helm so far. All used equipment, too. I'm located in Fairport Harbor on Lake Erie about 25 miles east of Cleveland. Where are you? I also stepped the mast this year and refinished it, adding led lighting and a masthead antenna. If I can be of any help to you, feel free to call me at 216-392-2220. Look forward to chatting with you.Ken

Hello,
Thanks for adding me to the group. I'm the new owner of a 1972 Cal 29, Hull number 340. It's my first boat and I'm really excited to get started cleaning and fixing her back up.
I would love to connect with any other Cal 29 owners out there for advice.
Thanks

Hi Randy, Yes, that is what we're doing. The process isn't completed yet but when we are finished I will let you know what parts we might have available. In the mean time, if you need used parts, check out massmarine on the east coast. Jon is the contact there. Lot's of stuff at reasonable prices. Ken
