Guys, what size diameter line should I use for a CAL29 that I don't race only cruise/daysail for the main halyard. Gotta replace the existing one.Thx,David Dobbs CAL29 411

So ideally the line diameter would be sized to the sheave at the top of your mast to reduce wear on the halyard in that spot. If you are properly sized right now than you would go with the same size.
When I changed mine out, I had the mast down and bought new sheaves. There is a guy in Port Townsend that specializes in making these to order. Can’t remember his name, but I am sure you could find it.
