Bimini on the stern rail of a Cal 2 34

Hi All, I'm looking to build a bimini on the stern rail of my Cal 2 34. There are already brackets welded onto the rail, (too many it seems to me), so clearly there has been one there before. I have met 3 of the 5 previous owners and none of them remember there ever being a bimini. I noticed when surfing through the pics on the site that there are a couple of boats with a 3 bow bimini built on the rail. I think it's Sarah Burnadette and maybe Puffin? I was hoping any of you with the same size Cal and/or similar pulpit could send pics and share info on how you built the frame for your biminis? If you'd like to see a pic of my stern rail to facilitate the process I'd be happy to send one along. Ideally I'd like to be able to fold it back as we get up to 70mph winds in the winter out by the breakwater where my slip is. Thanks so much for your help. I had a guy who builds these things for a living tell me that it couldn't be done because the stern rail is too flimsy and that it eventually, (sooner than later), will rip out the stanchion. I didn't believe him before and after seeing the pics I know he's full of it. Faith S/V Sea Jewel Squalicum Harbor, PNW
