I am one of the youngest in our sailing club at 54. I really felt old one day when I was telling one of my crew members that I moved out to the east coast from Texas in '87 and he said, "Yeah, that's when I was born" LOL. The "old salts" in our club still kick the "young" pups' asses more often than not. I think one of our old salts is 78, or thereabouts, and sails a Tarten 10 which is a very light boat.
