Thanks to all. We were spared as Hurricane Nate hit land about 100 miles west of us. Having enjoyed five of these events since we swallowed the anchor, we were prepared for the worst, like Ivan in 2004, 140 knot winds and 10 1/2 feet surge. Winds were less than 65 knots and only 5 feet of surge, barely over our dock. We have no damage, but are exhausted from preparation, setting extra anchors, doubling up dock lines. moving outside gear, etc. Then today, it is clean up time. We have pulled six anchors, cleaned debris from the docks and yard. It is great to have younger, healthy friends to do the heavy work, while I just drive the work boat. Satori, our Cal 46 suffered no damage. Craig and Beth's Cal 40 is okay and Janet's Cal 25 is okay. Remember this winter when you northerners are freezing for several months us folks in the Sunshine State are out sailing.
