Well,it started well, launched, no leaks, engine runs and we're off. Thirty minutes later we're at the O'Brien Lock. We slow to use the small boat signal, and the light turns green. I shift back to forward and the engine dies. Numerous re-starts, same outcome. I think, maybe time to call BoatUS. What a pleasure! I used the app on my Iphone, bang, they knew who I was, where I was and contacted a TowboatUS guy. He called me within minutes, said he was on the way and it was easy. We anchored so as not to drift into shallow water. He rafted up to us, tied up and had me steer on the way back to our yard. I had called the yard guys, they knew we were coming back. Arrived safely, they will fix the problem, maybe we'll try again Thursday. Good experience with BoatUS. I have never needed a tow before. This one was easy.
