Thanks for the clearance info. It puffs smoke pretty much all the time, looks black or gray, not jet black streams like when overloaded, and stinks like fuel. Getting worse over time, like months, but increasing as time goes on. Runs great, doesn't get hot, can lay my hand anywhere on engine or exhaust after hours of run time in 70 degree water, good water flow pumping out, doesn't seem to be using oil. After sitting for a week there is a little bit of fuel that comes out when first started, just enough for an embarrassing sheen on the water. My reasons for thinking injector. Ralph
