Cal 39 Pathfinder raw water pump

My raw water pump developed a small leak. I got a rebuild kit but can't get it off the engine. I remove the four bolts in the plat attached to the aluminum plate on the crankshaft. I assume the pump pulls off, but I can't get it off even with soft tapping on the steel plate on the water pump. Has any one taken one off a Pathfinder raw water pump? Thanks Sam
