Good Old Boat Regatta Sat October 6

Hi, All. For you Chesapeake Bay boaters, there is still time to sign up for the Good Old Boat Regatta in Annapolis on Oct 6. I've been studying many weather forecasts, and the weekend looks promising. No hurricanes, rain, or debris in the Bay. For Good Olde Boate owners on the Left Coast that is the same weekend as the Oktoberfest Regatta sponsored by the Santa Monica Windjammers Yacht Club. Last year Shpritz beat out the cruiser fleet and took home first place. It didn't hurt other boats got kinda lost, but we were late crossing the start of the second race ourselves, so there. It was real windy, and Shpritz likes wind because if you have that, you have enuff speed, power and lift out of a low aspect keel to go up wind nicely, or, at least, moe betta..
