Hi, Folks, finally back on E-Mail. Don’t know who I I’ve responded and who I haven’t. Tons of notes. Thanks for so many nice words. I had a throat surgery in January that got bigger than anticipated , and ended up in rehab. Doing much better in many areas and coming home soon. I'll be in touch. Cheers Charlie

I wonder if, with his throat out of commission, communicating to his crew via semaphore or American Sign Language will slow Charlie down? Or he could mount one of those big flood lights with shutters in the stern of the cockpit of one of his Cal 25's and communicate via Morse Code. I seen dem on olde black and white Victory at Sea documentaries. One of my favorite shews in the early days of TV. Of course, the young crew members will be expecting text messages, not flag signals.
